Agnes Coakley was born in England and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. While studying music at Yale University she was a member of professional choirs and a cellist in various ensembles. After studies in Berlin she moved to Basel in 2010 to study singing with Prof. Evelyn Tubb at the Schola Cantorum Baseliensis. Her musical interests cover a broad spectrum from the Middle Ages to the Twentieth century, with a particular focus on ensemble singing. For example, she sang recently in Hildegard von Bingen’s Ordo Virtutum in Basel. She also conducts the choir of the St-Georgs-Kirche in Haltingen (D).

Karen Gibbard is a freelance oboist specialising in performance on historical instruments. Her work has included engagements with renowned ensembles such as the Gabrieli Consort & Players. She is currently completing a Masters in baroque and classical oboe performance with Katharina Arfken at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel

Beverley Warboys is perhaps best known for playing the role of Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera at the Musical Theater Basel. Previously to this she performed the same role on many occasions at Her Majesty’s Theatre London, She performs regularly as a concert soloist and her oratorios and mass repertoire include Mozart and Faure Requiems, Bach B minor mass and St Mathew Passion.

Born in Sydney, David Blunden has established a lively international career as a soloist, ensemble musician and accompanist, performing in major festivals, theatres and churches throughout Europe. He is a founding member of the ensemble “Le Jardin Secret” which won the York International Young Artists Award in 2007.

Oliver Friedli is an independent musician, composer and sound designer and also works for the HKB in Bern as a lecturer in music technology and sound design. Since 2007 he is active as a piano player, leader and sideman in several bands independantly and alongside with his wife, Houry Dora Apartian.

Houry Dora Apartian was born and raised in Aleppo (Syria) by a Christian and musical family. She studied in Beruit and Paris where she debuted her solo career. She has lived in Basel since 2007, recording and touring.

Maria Forman has a degree in photography from the University College of Falmouth. She traveled to India in July 2012 for 5 months to work as a volunteer. During her time there she marveled at the beauty that broke through the intense heat, noise, smells and hive of activity, that is India. Vibrant colour, ornate artistry and beautiful souls rose to the surface and left awe inspiring memories.

  1. This design is spectacular! You definitely know how to
keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your
videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.
..HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say,
and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  3. Coal miners and astronauts are two of the
most dangerous professions, but do not figure in the list of
top ten most dangerous professions. Reviewing tax returns,
financial statements, and the letters will not prove how much money you could have made, but they can show trends.

B. http://blog.dialog.de/ gecheckt.
